Messy DesksThomson Learning, Australia, December 2002 This book was written for the Zebras series of school readers. It looks at the sorts of things you’re likely to find on the average desk (from computers to Liquid Paper), examining their history and providing a few quirky facts. At least, that’s what I originally wrote. Unfortunately, the final book bares little resemblance to what I wrote, having been re-written by editors and teacher consultants. It’s a good read, but I really didn’t write most of it. |
