Advance copy
A couple of days ago I attended the Macmillan Winter Sales Conference to promote Gamers’ Challenge to the sales reps who will be getting it out into book stores. (If you want to know more about the conference, I blogged about it on Literary Clutter.) Also on that day I received my advance copy of the book.
There is nothing quite like holding a copy of your new book for the first time. After months and months of writing and re-writing and editing and looking at cover options and checking proofs, a copy is finally placed in your hands and suddenly it all becomes real. 🙂
