Talking Who
Steven Moffat should let me write an episode of Doctor Who!
Why? Come along to Not Quite the Big Finish: An Evening of Doctor Who Spoken Word to find out… ‘cause that’s what I’m going to be ‘spoken wording’ about!
The 50th anniversary of Doctor Who is fast approaching. And the Melbourne Library Service is celebrating with their very own Doctor Who Festival. Not Quite the Big Finish: An Evening of Doctor Who Spoken Word is one of the events in this festival, and it promises to be an entertaining evening. I’m just one of the lineup that also includes…
- Ben McKenzie (Splendid Chaps, Dungeon Crawl)
- John Richards (Splendid Chaps, Outland)
- Karen Pickering (writer and organizer of Cherchez la Femme feminist salon)
- Adam Ford (poet and novelist, Man Bites Dog)
- LJ Maher (academic)
- Emilie Collyer (poet)
- Jules Wilkinson (writer and comedian)
- Philip Ashmore (renaissance man)
I’ll be wearing my TARDIS jacket and bringing along some DVDs to give away. So why not come along and join the fun! Here are the details…
When: Wednesday 13 November
doors open at 7:30pm, performances from 8pm
Where: The Ballroom at The Lithuanian Club, 45-50 Errol St, North Melbourne VIC 3051
To book for this event, check out the Doctor Who Festival web page. This event also has it’s own FaceBook page.
Hope to see you there!
